Create Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of the UK’s leading marketing agency based in Milton Keynes. They are very well established and work with some big, blue chip brands. This is a full time, permanent position.

The company are recruiting for a brilliant PR Account Manager, experienced in B2B and B2C PR and preferably with experience in food, drink and hospitality, to work across a growing number of these client accounts.

 

Job Summary

They are recruiting for an experienced dynamic Account Manager, to deliver exceptional results across a number of retained clients, projects and campaigns across consumer and trade media.

Taking a proactive approach, the Account Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of strategic and measurable campaigns, whilst overseeing the development of client communications.

It goes without saying that they will be a great communicator – with their team, clients and peers – with unparalleled contacts with a wide range of media and social influencers. They will be able to develop awesome creative ideas that translate well across the whole spectrum of integrated communication.

It is a brilliant role for someone who loves food and drink, has real empathy for their clients and the sector and wants to make a difference.

 

Objectives
  • • To retain and grow our current PR clients through strong client relationships
  • • To achieve high value earned media coverage that reflects agreed client KPIs
  • • To motivate and inspire junior members of the PR team
  • • To continue to build our reputation as an innovative, creative and effective agency
  • • To deliver outstanding, innovative PR campaigns which exceed client expectations
  • • To create awesome creative content and ideas for these clients
  • • To manage client accounts and work with them to develop their short term goals and long term strategy and plans
  • • A hands-on approach to support the day to day management of multiple clients, including McCain Foodservice, Brothers Cider and Bierschenke, working closely with other team members to make this achievable
  • • To achieve outstanding feedback for high levels of customer service
  • • To constantly reappraise opportunities and solutions for clients
  • • To build strong relationships with our clients to ensure they want to work with us and recommend us
  • • To lead, develop and maintain key media relationships

Ideal Experience
  • • At least 4 years relevant experience and a clear understanding of account management and PR
  • • Experience in building relationships with the media, speaking to journalists and other members of the media
  • • Excellent writing skills with an ability to create high impact content and know where that content will have the most influence
  • • A natural curiosity and willingness to learn
  • • Strong ability to multitask and work on multiple projects with a high level of accuracy, whilst meeting all KPIs within deadlines
  • • Creative thinker, problem solver and project management skills
  • • Ideally, experience of the hospitality industry or at least a love of food and drink
  • • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • • A PR, marketing or business qualification or relevant experience
  • • Preferably some experience with food and drink clients
