Client Services Manager

Through their client servicing, they ensure that their clients have everything they need to help them achieve their objectives. This can be anything from conducting research and developing strategy through to design execution and supplier liaison. TThis company puts enormous effort into following its clients from role to role, carefully mapping current and prospective clients in CRM, identifying where there may be appetite for their services and the budget to procure these services. They work across the brand ecosystem, providing research, strategy and design services spanning branding, graphics, digital, product and packaging. A broad knowledge of agency skills is therefore desirable.

 

 

The Role

The primary point of contact for a number of clients, you will become known as the source of all information on their business and be responsible for the contracting of a diverse range of projects. Your aim should be to handle and resolve daily tasks in an efficient manner, ensuring the needs of both client and agency are met. You also play a pivotal role in growing revenue in line with business objectives and building the clients reputation across 3 core markets;

  • – Health – healthcare and pharmaceuticals, inc RX and OTC drug branding, digital comms, packaging, medical device development and training tools.
  • – Home – diverse range of consumer sectors, including smart systems, sound and vision, kitchen and bath, lifestyle and security.
  • – Health/Home Convergence – including digital health, connected care, wellbeing, independent living and sleep.

 

 

Responsibilities

Working closely with the COO, CEO the CSM role will involve;

  • – Becoming the lead contact between the company, and their clients and suppliers.

  • – Gaining an in-depth knowledge of our integrated approach and breadth of offer and developing the ability to articulate them coherently.

  • – Taking briefs from clients alongside the creative team and working with our specialists, helping to generate proposals that set out strategically focused solutions.

  • – Determining, scoping and negotiating requirements, closing deals efficiently.

  • – Financial management – estimating, budgeting and cost control across accounts/projects.

  • – Reviewing legal documents (such as NDAs or contracts) and liaising with Directors and external advisors as appropriate.

  • – Working with COO, strategy and creative teams to ensure delivery against timing plans.

  • – Working with COO to prioritise workflow on your projects, as well as setting key review dates and ongoing meet and greet sessions with core clients.

  • – Maintain accurate records on CRM of core clients and equally importantly their colleagues who may also be in a position to commission work from the company.

  • – Keeping pipeline data up to date, ensuring it accurately reflects the value of the opportunity.

  • – Assisting in preparation of tender and bid opportunities for core clients, ensuring our timely and effective response.

  • – Preparing fee forecasts (billing schedule) and monitoring resource allocations in line with approved budgets.

  • – Ensuring client invoices are issued on time in line with project fee forecasts in conjunction with the Accounts team.

  • – Proactively drive the development of existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities or repeat business.

  • – Identifying and seeking out new business opportunities, and assisting the Directors in hunting.

  • – Help out with marketing activities including online marketing, social media, conference/seminars and promotional events. Network at these events, especially where there is core client involvement and promote the company.

  • – Organise and participate in hosting client meetings, ensuring that the customer experience is of a consistently high standard. This will may extend to organising catering, setting up social engagements with the team and managing the logistics of travel for their visitors.

  • – Strong numeracy, comfortable with entering and extracting data from accounting apps (eg Xero).

  • – Comfortable with handling confidential legal documentation and acting/filing appropriately.

  • – Excellent Office 365 skills with a high level of proficiency in Excel.

  • – Experience in CRM systems, ideally familiar with the Hubspot platform.

  • – Clean driving licence and own vehicle.

  • – Ability to travel both domestically and internationally on a regular basis.

 

 

Package 

They are offering a basic salary of £40k per annum plus performance-related bonuses for the right individual, who will also enjoy being part of a friendly, ambitious and dynamic studio environment.
